Meet Meg, Founder and Mentor

Hello, I'm Meg, the Founder and Educator at Aliud Alternative. With over a decade of experience working with neurodiverse learners, I bring a wealth of knowledge and firsthand understanding to our community. My journey began with my own child's challenges in traditional schooling, which led me to develop homeschool programs for elementary students. Over time, I transitioned to teaching at a private school. Today, I focus on empowering teenagers to thrive outside the conventional classroom setting.

The educational landscape often fails to meet the diverse needs of every child, sometimes causing lasting trauma, especially for those with neurodiverse requirements. Aliud Alternative was born out of the belief that no teen should ever feel inadequate or misunderstood. Our mission is to provide a supportive learning environment where every individual can flourish.
